Overview

The Garden of Roses Fashion Show is the Greater Keller Women's Club Foundation's main fundraising event of the year.  The Foundation’s goal is to assist the Club in its endeavors to provide assistance to worthy charitable contributions serving the needs of Keller and the northeast Tarrant County.

The first fashion show held by the club was in 1996, with the proceeds being donated to the Community Storehouse.  The fundraiser then became an annual event with all proceeds going to 501(c)(3) charitable organizations in Northeast Tarrant County.  Since 1999, the fashion show has been held at the Texas Motor Speedway to a sold-out crowd of over 560 guests each year.

We are proud that the cumulative efforts over the last 17 years have enabled us to return over $725,000 to our community.  In 2011 alone, GKWC was able to raise funds in excess of $86,000 to distribute to area charities and provide local high school scholarships.

Some of the recipients in past years include:

ARTSNET Keller Library
Battered Women’s Foundation   Metroport Meals on Wheels
Community Enrichment Center  Community Storehouse
Christ Haven for Children  Summer Santa
Friends of the Haslet Library Holly Bowden Scholarship
Families for Effective Autism Treatment Rocky Top Therapy Center
